Data Deletion

Qoum does not require an account. Prayer history, precise coordinates, settings and user audio are designed to remain on your phone. Qoum also maintains limited aggregate Firebase counters as described in our Privacy Policy.

What Qoum keeps

On your phone: precise location coordinates and timezone, alarm settings, prayer/streak history, guardian details, QR identifier and any user-provided alarm audio used by the app.
On Firebase: aggregate events such as alarms scheduled, Fajr completions, selected city totals and challenge-type totals. Qoum does not attach a Qoum account, name, email, phone number or advertising identifier to these event payloads.

How to remove your data

Local data: clear Qoum's app storage in your phone settings, or uninstall Qoum. This removes the app's local settings and history from that installation, subject to any operating-system backup/restore behavior.

Aggregate counters: these records are intentionally not stored with a Qoum account or direct application identifier that lets us locate one individual's contribution for deletion.

Privacy request: email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion". We will review any information that can reasonably be associated with your request and respond in accordance with applicable law.

What is not uploaded to Qoum's application backend

Your precise latitude and longitude
Your prayer history and streak
Your guardian phone number
Your QR challenge identifier
